Exciting opportunity for a lawyer to develop their career with a dynamic and innovative healthcare business. The business is highly successful and has a strong appetite for growth.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts such as; distribution agreements, IT/software agreements, contract manufacturing agreements, e-commerce agreements and marketing agreements.
  • Assist in acquisitions and disposals, including due diligence, disclosure, and the drafting and negotiation of sale and purchase agreements.
  • Provide advice on compliance and regulatory matters, ensuring the business follows contractual, regulatory, and statutory requirements. Also ensuring compliance with sanctions and export regimes.
  • Contribute to legal compliance training, covering topics such as bribery, corruption, and competition law.
  • Assist with the management of trademark and patent portfolios, working to protect international trademark and patent portfolios.
  • Managing contractual disputes.

 

We are looking for:

 

  • Qualified Solicitor, 2-5PQE in England & Wales
  • Practical knowledge and experience in commercial or corporate law and additionally other areas of experience would be helpful such as technology, IP, data protection, dispute resolution and compliance.
  • Experience with a UK based law firm or in-house legal team
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a logical, structured thinker
